General Kitchen Kit FAQ

  • Can I change my order?
    • Any order amendment requests such as changing an order or cancelling an order can be sent via email to customer services at customerservices@kitchenkit.co.uk. You may cancel or amend your order Free of Charge, provided the order has not entered production, or in the case of stocked product before they have been picked.
    • Amendments to orders which are already in the picking stage may be subject to an administration fee of 25% of the order value (minimum charge £25). We will confirm as soon as possible whether the amendments can be made.
    • Unfortunately, if a Made to Measure order is already in production this cannot be cancelled.
  • What are my delivery options?
    • Standard Kerbside Delivery (Free of Charge) – Items will be delivered to the nearest kerbside at the specified address.
    • Premium 2-Man Room of Choice Delivery Service (additional cost) (Available from 10th October 2023) – Premium 2-Man Room of Choice Delivery Service on ourflatpacked and rigid kitchen furniture.  This is to facilitate the delivery of bulkier and heavier consumer packaged goods into the consumers’ room of choice, whether in the home, garden, garage or office. The goods are unpacked, and all packaging taken away for disposal.
    • Saturday Premium 2-Man Room of Choice Delivery Service (Available from 10th October 2023) – As above but delivered on a Saturday at an additional cost of £12.50. Saturday delivery date can be selected at checkout.
    • Click and Collect Service from our Doncaster Factory (Available from 30th January 2024) – can be selected at checkout and a member of our customer services team will be in touch to arrange a collection slot on the date selected.

    Both the Premium 2-Man Room of Choice Delivery Service & Saturday Premium 2-Man Room of Choice Delivery Service is currently not available in NI, ROI, Islands or Highlands.

    Worktops/upstands/breakfast bars/ABS edging and appliances are not available for Click and Collect.  These items must be ordered separately.

  • What payment methods can I use?

    We accept:

    • All major credit and debit cards
    • Sagepay
    • Paypal
    • Klarna
  • When will my kitchen be despatched?

    Please be aware that the date you see or select at checkout, is not the delivery date but the date the goods will be despatched.

    • Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will be despatched on the Wednesday at the earliest.  This is to allow time for these orders to be processed on the Monday.
    • Rigid kitchen orders are despatched in 10 working days.
    • Flatpacked kitchen orders are despatched in 2 working days.
    • True handleless kitchen orders are despatched in 10 working days.
    • Worktops are despatched in 7 working days.
    • Breakfast bar back panels are despatched in 10 working days.
  • When will my kitchen be delivered?

    Premium 2-Man Room of Choice Delivery Service for flatpacked and rigid kitchens:

    • UK Mainland only – 3 working days.
    • The 2-man premium service is currently not available in NI, ROI, Islands or Highlands.

    If you’ve requested a Saturday delivery your kitchen will be delivered on that selected date.

    Kitchen furniture component orders:

    • UK Mainland only – next working day
    • NI – 3-5 working days
    • ROI – 4-6 working days

  • When will my appliances be despatched?

    Appliances will be delivered directly from the supplier.

    If order is placed before 1pm we aim to despatch next working day to Northern Ireland & 1 working day for UK.

  • When will my appliances be delivered?

    Delivery lead times to the following regions are as below:

    • UK Mainland / NI / ROI – 3-5 working days.
    • Offshore – 4-10 working days.

  • When will my worktop be despatched?

    Worktops are despatched to you directly from the manufacturer on a 7 working day lead time.

  • When will my worktop be delivered?

    Worktops are delivered to you directly from the manufacturer, where possible we will try and ensure that worktops are delivered on the same day as your kitchen, but there may be instances where delivery is made on a different day.

    • UK Mainland – 1 working day

    Deliveries of worktops are not available to the below regions:

    • Isle of White
    • Guernsey
    • Jersey
    • Isle of Man
  • How much will delivery cost?

    To ensure bulkier, heavier items are delivered with the same care with which we manufacture our kitchens we offer a Premium 2 Man Room of choice delivery service which is chargeable up to a maximum cost of £150 (UK Mainland only).

    The 2-man premium service is currently only available in UK Mainland.

    Saturday delivery will cost an additional £12.50.

    (Available for two-man premium orders only to UK mainland).

    Worktop deliveries are free of charge to UK mainland.

    Appliance deliveries are free of charge to NI / ROI and UK mainland.

    Offshore postcodes will incur additional costs for worktops and appliances.

    All kitchen furniture component orders will incur the following Regional Surcharges:

    • Grampian & Highlands: £55.00
    • Northern Ireland: £55.00
    • Republic of Ireland: £85.00

  • Why is my order split?

    In some circumstances your delivery may be split.  This can happen when the order includes long items such as profiles, plinths, larder end panels etc.  If you are continuing to experience split deliveries, please contact customer services customerservices@kitchenkit.co.uk or call (0) 333 0348 579.

  • What should I do to report a damaged item?
    • Upon delivery it is your responsibility to check the goods, any alleged defect, shortage, fault, or error must be reported within 5 working days, and before the products are used or fitted.
    • In the unlikely event of any goods which show sign of Transit Damage, please sign for the delivery as “Damaged” and report to customer services at customerservices@kitchenkit.co.uk within 5 working days.
  • What guarantee do I get?

    We offer a warranty of 6 years from date of purchase on all frontals and 25 years quality guarantee on kitchen cabinets.

    This warranty does not cover:

    • Fair wear and tear.
    • Accidental damage or negligence.
    • Products placed near heat sources such as ovens, radiators, grills boiling kettles, toasters etc. are not covered by the guarantee unless protected by suitable heat strips and a suitable gap left for heat escape.
  • Where do Kitchen Kit deliver?

    We can deliver to your business address, direct to a site address and we also offer delivery direct to your customers home address.

  • What do I do if my order is incomplete?

    We will endeavour to deliver your order on time and in full – in the event of any shortage we will contact you to advise.  You MUST check your order as soon as possible and report any shortages / discrepancies within 5 working days.

  • Can I change my delivery address?

    Amendments to delivery address can be made only if the order has not already been despatched.

  • Can I return my order?

    If you wish to return any goods to us, you must email customer services at customerservices@kitchenkit.co.uk

    If return is approved, we will send you a return’s note, please be advised that the cost of returning any product will be your responsibility.  Only goods which have been approved for return to us, goods which are returned without pre-approval will not be credited and may be disposed of.

    Cancellation of a rigid made to order kitchen already in production is not permitted.  However, amendments to made to order rigid kitchens can be made if production has not commenced.  Any amendments to a made to order rigid kitchen will be subject to an administration fee, 25% of the order value (minimum charge £25)

  • What is the Kitchen Kit design service?

    Kitchen Kit offers a free design and quote service.  To avail of this service, you can contact our Kitchen Kit designer by
